COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We invite you to experience our Amber Ale, a beer as beautiful to look at as it is to drink. Our recipe blends our own pale malt base with three specialty malts and the freshest "American" noble hobs. The resulting deep, rich color of Olde Towne Amber Ale means great flavor, leaning toward the malty side with just a hint of hops in the bouquet. Olde Towne Amber Ale is a feast for the eyes, nose and mouth. Tasting is understanding.

Pours a cloudy amber color with a thin offwhite head. Mediocre aroma of caramel and coacoa. Boring flavor of caramel and coacoa. The body is light with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Mostly boring.

Thanks to Blue Lou for letting me try this one. Pours a not very attractive muddy reddish brown colour. Aroma is actually decent, some sweetness like cinnamon, coffee and malt coming through. Taste is very light. Not bad but not a typical amber. Actually very reminiscent of the Leine’s Red. Sort of thin. It also reminds me of Railhouse amber. Semi sweet and fruity like raisins.

( 12oz bottle, courtesy of thirdeye11 ) Pours a clear amber body with a medium white head. Aroma of toasted nuts, whisky (odd…), cereal, and caramel (nose resembles a much stronger beer). Flavor of toasted grain, caramel malt, marzipan, and nuts. Something seems a bit off in this batch.

Chestnut colored body, filmy white head, and slippery lacing. Lots of caramel and butter in the aroma. Honey roasted peanuts and perhaps a bit of coffee. Light mellow body that’s balanced but finishes too short. A boatload of butter in the flavor, minor roasted caramel and that’s about it. Strange brew, one was enough.

( 12oz bottle thanks to ericandersnavy) Pours clear amber. Nose of cooked butternut squash. Taste is bland corn, under-carbonated and overall not good. Too sweet as well.
