Bottle. Poured a dark amber with a creamy off-white head that is mostly lasting and leaves light lacing. The aroma was had floral hits and a malt background. The flavor was of chocolate, mixed with citrus and a hint of spices. Light to medium body with a light chocolate aftertaste. I’m not sure if this was an off bottle but will re-rate if I come across another bottle.

Pours a slightly hazed caramelized sugar brown. The head quickly fades to a bubble ring. The aroma is rich maltiness with wood and caramel, slight touch of corn. The flavor is light but sweet, a warm sweetness spreads over the tongue in the finish. Definitely not dry, but I personally really like this one. Definitely lacks the brewing flaws of batches reviewed by earlier raters. Thanks brentfeesh.

12 oz bottle. After reading the other reviews, I would have to say I am rating the first uncontaminated bottle...Not surprising as they have reportedly had many difficulites with their distibution process after start up. But, it seems they are getting a handle on it as this beer was drinkable. Golden maple pour with light carbonation. Clear. Smells like sweet cinnamon candy and malt. Unexpected. The flavor is malty with raison and prune hints. Light sweetness and a faint spicy finish. Good carbonation level, lightly creamy medium body. A fair beverage with nothing particularly wrong with it. Just not my favorite style.

Bottle. Just not a very good beer.. I dunno.. Maybe the bottle I had was bad. Looked great but had a terrible chemical / medicinal taste with an unpleasant sourness in the finish. Poured 3/4 down the drain. Will try to find some on tap and re-rate. Seems I’ve had better luck with the Olde Towne products I had that way.

Pours a bright golden amber color, head lasted about 20 seconds. No lacing to speak of. Aromas of spice, light grains, and a touch of something fruity. Flavor is medicinal, sweet, and sort of vegatal. Not impressed with this offering.

Sampled at Music City Brewers Festival. Pours pale amber with white head. Bread and yeast aroma. Flavor of toffee, walnuts, carmamel, with some butteriness. Slight bitter finish.

Draught. Color is deep golden with reddish brown hues, arrives with a thin white head. Aroma is subtle: malt, sugars, yeast. Flavor is sweet and malty with almost no hop presence, which is true to style, I believe. Strange almost slick, viscous mouthfeel at the finish ... a bit odd, but not totally unpleasant. Just different. Overall, a smooth, drinkable, decent offering.

Newest offering by Olde Towne. Probably their best beer yet, although I really liked the porter. Looks very similar to their amber, but tastes very different. A slighty sweet, very easy to drink beer.
