We commissioned The Olde Towne Brewing Co. to produce a Chocolate Stout for The Nook. The brewers at Olde Towne proudly presented on 15 December their very limited edition Olde Towne Nook Chocolate Stout #1. The aromas and flavors begin with faint hints of ginger, becoming fudgy and creamy, balancing the sweetness with a round, dark-chocolate finish. Silky smooth in texture with a lively complexity

Dark, opaque black pour with a small beige head. Very chocolaty aroma, maybe a nice milk chocolate. Flavor is lightly sweet chocolate fading into coffee/cocoa powder/dark chocolate bitterness at the end. Full of roasted malt flavor. Creamy and very good.

Draft at the Nook. Black in the glass with a creamy tan head that is lasting and had thick lace. Aromas of coffee and light roast. The flavor found chocolate, coffee bean, and a light roast background. Medium to full body, creamy texture, and a coffee. A very nice stout form Olde Towne!
