COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Quickly becoming one of our most popular brews. Olde Towne Pale Ale is a delight to all the senses. Crafting this style of ale requires the use of three specialty malts which provides a rich, full-bodied flavor. This maltiness is carefully balanced by the incorporation of "Cascade" and imported English hops ealy in the boil. This combination of malts and hops creates a complex Pale Ale with a wonderful finish. Beer lovers know that aroma, flavor and the finish are crucial to great pale ale. Olde Towne Pale Ale strives to this to you.

Had this at the Mensa Regional Gathering in Huntsville (if I may brag!) Has a nice malty, somewhat fruity, subtly hoppy aroma that invites a taste. It pours a clear amber-golden with a decent white head. Flavor is malty, a little fruity, a little yeasty and a little hoppy; bitterness is mild. Texture is smooth with a good firm tingle.

31st July 2010. ChrisOs Pre GBBF - ’Raise The Roof’ tasting. Hazy gold beer. Good cream head. Softish dry palate. Fairly well balanced, rich malt which turns soft and creamy and a nice dash of hop. Very drinkable.

Bottle @ Chriso’s pre-GBBF ’Raise the Roof’ Tasting ’10. A clear, dark orange beer with a fine & readily disappearing off-white head. Odd plasticy aroma and burnt caramel (?) amidst some APA cascade fruitiness. A bit better on the tongue though the plastic comes through with a toasty maltiness and subtle hop fruit notes. Light body, medium carbonation and a relatively thin mouthfeel. Not a great finish either but OK.

Pours ice tea orange with an aroma of raw pumpkin pulp. Flavor is malty hops cracker that sits tingly on the tongue. Light and refreshing.

Bottled, thanks Cletus! Hazy deep golden, creamy head. Perfumy pear aroma. Mid-dry with medium body and cottony well rounded mouthfeel. Mildly resiny with growing late bitterness. Enjoyable pale ale.

Bottled. Poured cloudy medium orange with a short, dense cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweeter caramel and honey notes accented by earthy hops and a splash of Windex.. not bad, but not all that hoppy. The flavor found sweet caramel and some inadvertent fruit at the core, with bitter pine and earth around.. bitterness built all the way through the finish, but lost its definition. Lighter-bodied dry, and a bit sour on the palate.. balance was OK.
