Bottle - thanks bhk! - pours a cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is pineapple. Taste is a little bitter, but god this is just blah. Seriously.

Bottle from random liquor store. Smells like sticky sweet pineapple. Tastes like I don t what. I dont want to be too hard on this one since the brewery no longer exists and I dont know how old this beer is. But what I had was not good.

12oz bottle, big thanks to sommersb on BA for my first tick from Alabama, my 49th state ticked (including DC). Let me first give a shout-out to the brave beer advocates who recently freed the hops in this state, and my condolences to the guys who tried to keep those hops in their cage. It was a battle well fought, with your intelligent and well-spoken arguments: "What’s wrong with the beeah we got? The beeah we got drink pretty good, don’t it? The Budweisah, Millah, Cooahs!" Sorry that those hops got out. This beer pours cloudy yet lively, golden in color with a one-finger white head that fizzes down to thick foam. The aroma is interesting, very fruity and almost like a Belgian pale ale, with big green apple as well as sweet malty notes. On the flavor, there is definitely something interesting there. It’s the unmistakable taste of Belgium! Did they throw the wrong yeast into this beer? Either way, I sort of like it. Green apple and slight banana with sweet malt and caramel. Medium-bodied and a little less crisp and clean than I’d like on the mouthfeel. Not too shabby overall though, for a brewery from a state I didn’t expect much from. Maybe I should expect more from the home of the Crimson Tide.

Golden orange-yellow, white foam. Drippy lacing. Aroma is heavy, toasty, lemony. Taste is very creamy, heavy malt, light grass, toast. Too heavy for my taste.

Fairly creamy and full-bodied for a pils - light honey, bright floral notes, crisp, grassy hops - fairly crisp and refreshing - however, a light tangy/sour note indicates the early onset of infection - this adds a lemony character, but detracts from the balance, and the fact that it is an apparent flaw makes it hard to drink - oh well, at least I get an Alabama tick for this one.

bottled: apperance was golden but slightly hazy and minimal head. The taste was lightly sweet. It had a light body and average carbonation. It is a beer I will definately share with friends and family.

draft at brewery pours clear golden, white head. aroma had hints of buttery sweetness, some pilsener malts and wheat. taste, light malts, hoppy finish sweet and very one dimensional hinting toward a light citrusy finish and smooth buttery palate with underlying bitter notes of the hops.

Tap @ the 1st Annual Rocket City Brewfest. 08 may 09. Clear golden yellow. Aroma of corn, straw and pils malt. Flavor has lots of straw, corn, fruitiness, and nice saaz hops. Finishes with a light blueberry extract note. Sort of very fruity. Still good though.
