A golden beer with a frothy head. A hoppy, slightly zesty aroma. The taste matches but is ever so slightly bland. Not unpleasant, just nothing special.

On cask at Brigantes. Pours a light golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of caramel, lemon, yeast and Weetabix. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a creamy mouth-feel. Mildly bitter with lingering grassy hops.

Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100804]

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, nuts, wood and some mild earthy and honeyish notes. Flavour is much the same along with some hay and mild grassyness. Fruity and grassy aftertaste.

(Cask at New Oxford, Salford, 23 July 2009) Copper colour with brief, off-white head. Malty nose with dried fruit, prunes, dried apricots and a touch of sweet malt. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, apricots, orange and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with some malt sweetnees throughout. Nice and tasty beer.
