Cask, Newark Winter Fest 10. Hazy bronze with a small head. Aromas are earthy hops and weetabix malts with some nuttiness. Flavours are sweet biscuit, toffee and weetabix malts with nutty notes. Peppery on the finish. Not bad.

Pours a dark side of copper, not much head. Taste is roasted and nutty, a little sweet but followed by a decent straw/grain bitter finish. Nice enough.

Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes. Copper with an off white head. Doghair malt aroma. Malt and a painty sourness in the taste. The bitterness is a bit woolly. Clunking, heavy handed beer, but not without some appeal.

Cask at FFTMC. Oxford, 06-09-08 Roasty bitter malty taste with some digestive biscuit. This is a nicy tangy beer, interesting after the sweetness of the Potbelly Yeller Belly. Pours mid amber with a tiny white head.

Cask @ 3 Legge Mare, november 07. Deep golden color with some orange hues and a medium white creamy head (sparkler). Roasted peanuts flavor with some raisiny, cereal notes. Medium to light palate, some fruits with a salty finnish. Sulphur notes on the nose with some slight fruitiness but not that nice. Ok, decent, copper bitter.
