3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned handpump Old Bank Northampton 30/03/13. A golden beer with a patchy white head and lace. Not the best galaxy hopped beer but there is a bit of sharp hopping and high bitterness. Bitter oranges. A bit too sharp for me,

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2013 1) Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton, 05/03/13. Pale gold with a slim but persistent loose-bubbled top. Building catty, leafy hop nose with vegetal undercurrents. Dry, husky, bitter and biscuity with grassy and lemon pith hints. Crackery linger. Better than average but demolished by comparison with the Salopian Oracle.
2) The Railway, Hinckley, 17/08/13. Pale blonde capped and lacing with white. Sulphur, grass and lemon hints on nose; some metal. Good firm hop bite; underpinning husk and biscuit, vague grass lemon jelly citrus. Bitter and biscuit linger. Solid. 637313.
