UPDATED: FEB 4, 2010 Cask, The Victoria Inn, Rugby. Dirty gold with a white collar. Alluring musty orange snout; Goldings maybe, celery and armpit as it warms. Parsley, slight sweet vegetable and cask notes, bitter orange hop, popcorn and vanilla. Bit floury, but decent hops lurking beneath. 736314. RERATE The Brewery Tap, Derby. Headless red gold. Good musky hop citrus aroma. Nice chew of apple, apricot, some butter biscuit. Hops, malts, balance. Tangily fruity. Good beer from a good brewery.

Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (080808)

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, vanilla and some fruits. Flavour is wood, some malts and notes of flowery and fruity hops. Quite crisp bitter grassy and fruity end.

Gravity Cask @ Battersea Beer Festival. Green leafy hop and dryish malt nose. Slight oily bitterness to the finish. Drinkable but not too much going on. Not too clean a little fruitiness in the finish.
