2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Cloudy orange brown with a small head. Aromas are nectarine with caramel and cream. Some brown sugar and honey. Flavours are sweet oranges with biscuit. Soda water with a misplaced burnt grapefruit bitterness. OK.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 25/08//2012. Deep gold with a slight white head. Sweet, orange blossom and fruit aroma. Flavour had plenty more orange with some honey sweetness in the fish. An ok novelty.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned at The Windham Arms, Sheringham, Norfolk. Amber with white head. Fruity quite smooth beer, light malt, honeyed, hints of orange peel. Nice and lasting if a hint of sweetness. Pretty good.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500 mL bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy orange beer with a good bubbly head. Light fruity orange aroma. Citrusy and fruity, with some bitterness. A bit like having a Fruitella. Can just about detect the honey that was promised. An interesting mixture, but to be honest not as orange, blossomy or as special as promised. To be quite honest this is a bit of a disappointment. If I want a honey beer Iíll have Barbar. An experiment that doesnít quite hit the mark, but its not all bad. Does taste unique, Iíll give it that.

Cask (CWAF2012, Friday)
Very aromatic. Mostly grainy. Some vegetal aspects too. Strangly had a fairly fresh feel to it despite the vegetal aspects. Wasnít quite right.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at the Bricklayers Arms Norfolk & Suffolk festival, 23rd Sept 2010. Coppery amber with no head. Marmalade on nose and tongue. Honey manifests later in the corners of the mouth. Not too sweet. Full palate. Actually a bit bland in the end.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The overwhelming aroma on this is honey with an underlying paper/ash and orange pith. The taste is also predominantly honey at the fore with some malt backbone but little of that bitter after taste described in the finish. A nice enough beer however. Golden amber in colour with a foamy white head that remains to the end and a medium carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Beers of Europe another cheapie as I recall. Consumed 26.09.10 Pours hazy amber with a white head. There is a sour fruity nose to this. Taste is a bit poor but intriguingly it improves after a slice of camemebert. . There is an orangeyness to this, steady malts its safe and rescued by the camembert partnering. A5 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 2.9

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask - The Brewery Tap, Wroxham. Poured a pale amber with an initially fluffy but short-lived white head. Orange peel on the nose. Very short bitter finish, light fruit notes with a light malt base. Not a lot going on here. Quite a soft palate with a light body.
