COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Complex, with a rich malty sweetness, significant esters and alcohol, and light to moderate spiciness. The malt is rich and strong, and has a Munich-type quality. The fruity esters are strong , and contain raisin, plum, dried cherry notes. Coppery-brown in colour. Huge, dense, cream-coloured head.

Bottle from Bakers and Larners of Holt, Norfolk. Clear, dark copper colour. Halo of tan head. I dropped a small bollock with this. Had it in the cellar about a year, not realising it was corked, not capped. Should have laid it down. Still decent, and it goes lovely with a square of Mast Brothers chocolate, but it is slightly oxidised. Bugger...

Bottle @ Yespr. Pours a dark amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty spicy caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.

Opaque dark reddish brown beer. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Mild malts and a little milk chocolate powder. Mild coca cola and fruits. Finishes semi dry with mild minerals. Easy going Belgian ale.
