Once a year the the Danish Beer Enthusiasts celebrates "Øllets Dag" - Day of the beer. This year they wanted something special. Together with the founders of the organization, we made a recipe based on a classic Belgian Dark Ale. Ølfabrikken AA is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

Fantastisk velmodnet bryg.

The aroma is full of dried fruits (figs, raisins, prunes, apricot). The aroma is full of figs. The figs are dominating. There is also a long finish with lots of dried fruits appearing all the time. This beer is from 2006 and the years have been very good to this excellent beverages.

ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Cloudy dark brown beer. Small pale tan head. Chocolately dark malt nose. Light smooth palate. Sweet chocolatey malt with a trace of coffee and a trace of toffee. Does feel is age slightly but a very very nice beer nontheless.

Amazing old ale or barleywine aroma. Raisins and sugar cover the 8% well. Stunning rich and balanced barley wine. So much raisin. Brilliantly aged to perfection.
