4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 madsberg (8784) - Søborg, DENMARK - SEP 2, 2006
Bottled. Reddish brown coloured. Light brown dense head. Berries, caramel, fruits and light flowery notes in the aroma. Flavour of caramel, fruits and herbs. Nice body. Quite balanced and a bit on the short side hoppywise for a Ølfabrikken beer, but I like it. Is caramelly and fruity in the end. Really good one.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Koelschtrinker (8473) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 10, 2011

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep fruity-vinous (dark berries detectable) nose with a touch of molasses and brandy, hazy, amber coloured, mid-sized lacing tanned head; solid sweet flavour, medium bodied; becomes drier towards the end, brandy, chocolate and roast-malty bitterness in the finish. A good one, if You like Belgian beers........

Big bottle (ChrisO Pre-GBBF2011 "Donkey Dork Lord" Shindig)
Amazing old ale or barleywine aroma. Raisins and sugar cover the 8% well. Stunning rich and balanced barley wine. So much raisin. Brilliantly aged to perfection.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Pours cloudy brown with a foamy, tan head. Aged malts in the aroma, ripe dark fruit, cake. Very sweet flavor, big notes of brown sugar and toffee. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet, sticky finish. I thought this was awesome.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Skinnyviking (5944) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 2, 2006
Bottle. High lovely brown head that takes a long tome to disappear. Hazy and very dark red brown body. Coffee choccolate aroma (sorry mates I cannot smell the dried fruits). Creamy coffee choccolate flavor with a pleasant amount of hops to take away the worst sweetness. A good compromise between sweetness and bitterness.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Plovmand (5711) - Helsinge, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2011
Swintop bottle. Entered to celebrate my daughters 5 yo birthday. It pours deep dark brown with a very creamy dense tan head leaving amazing lacings. The aroma is loads of dried dark fruit like prune, raisins and dates. Notes of sweet caramel, tobacco, toasted malt and brown sugar. Very nice. The flavour is sweet caramel, dried fruit, light hops, brown sugar and belgian yeast. Long ripe fruity finish. Very good!
