COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A double IPA brewed for the Danish Beer Festival in Horsens 2006. made with Maris Otter Pale Malt and a dash of caramel malt for color and sweetness. Hopped with Columbus, Saaz, Centennial and Chinook. Dry hopped four times for maximum flavor and aroma. Available on bottle and keg. Draught. Slightly hazy reddish brown body with a huge beige head. Strong hoppy aroma, citrus and fruity. Flavor is dominated by hops, fruity and sweet malty balanced. Some warming alcohol. American style IPA definitively.

Hazy brown beer with a good white head. Overwhelming hops aroma of the fruity kind, plenty of grapefruit. Sharply bitter flavour, without much balance.

Ølfestival Horsens 2006. It’s a beautiful golden beer, with a big, golden head. The aroma is nicely and very well hopped with notes of fruit just as the flavour and the bitterness is just wonderful with perfect bite and acidity. An outstanding beer 1669

Nice teaish hop aroma. Hazy brown colour. The flavour is quite bitter with much teaish hops. Peppery and sweet aftertaste.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2007 Draught@Plan B, Copenhagen. Lots of hops in the aroma. Pine, lychee, grapefruit, yeah lots of hoppy notes in the aroma. Palate is heavily sweet. Sweet caramelly hops, and then sweet sappy hops, then a pretty decent hop bitterness in the finish. Nice, but a little too sweet and even a bit sticky for me.

Cloudy amber color. Nice aroma of fruity and English hops. Powerful malty body, with a very good hopping. Very much American style, very much extreme, very much good.

Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen.
An unclear maghony beer with a creamy tan head. Sweet malt and toffee aroma with obvious notes of cookie and bread - American barley wine style. Sweet in the flavor as well - toffee, cake and spices with an earthly forrest berry note, probably from the hops. Heavy bitterness in the end with some alcoholic notes that leaves my tongue sore. Extreme all right, very barley wineish. Not an IPA for beginners and they waitress also did warn me about it when I ordered it!! Definately interesting!
