COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Also known as "Ølfabrikken Sommer IPA 2007".

Bottle. It pours a hazy, orange-golden with a nice, off-white head. Pinecones, citrus, peach and resin on the nose, some maltyness detected too, but not much. Doesn’t matter though, it smells delicious. The flavor followes the same path, but has more malty sweetness, giving it nice balance, still it’s not in the same league as the aroma. The finish is a long one, getting better and better, before it slowly fades. It’s a lovely beer, but it feels a bit one-dimentional after a while, but I wouldn’t be sad if I had regular access to it. Bottle. [thank you, myrup!]
Deep hazy pale yellow golden. Big, frothy white head. A little lacing. Wonderful aroma, very grassy and lots of fruit. Grapefruit, citrus and light pine. Not much malt apparent. Medium carbonation and light mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly sweet at first. Then lots of dry, bitter hops expand nicely. Grapefruit, tea leaves, pine. Fresh, dry and very American. Good Ølfabrikken...

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with white head. Lots of hops in the aroma. Surely american. Grass and citrus. The usual stuff from the IPA’s. Dry flavour with lots of bitterness with notes of grapefruit and slightly malted.

Great intense hob aroma, with huge amounts of americans hobs giving it a grape, citrus and rasin aroma. Flavor is very dry and of course bitter. Great IPA the way i like them, and worked well at a christmas lunch where the dark brews get too heavy later on.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Hazy golden with a tall and lively off-white head leaving laces. Fresh, citrusy nose. Medium body, a little low in carbonation. The malt base is quite timid and the beer is completely dominated by the fresh, grapefruitish citrus notes. Dry and hoppy finish. 180907

Bottle. Large fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Good display of lacework. Cloudy golden color. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, citrus, caramel, fruit. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated bitter flavor with counter sweetness. Dry and bitter finish. 18-09-2007
