3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Cornfield (5276) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JAN 1, 2009
750ml bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Plainfield, IL. It has a hazy brown body with a tall, pale tan head that provides plenty of lace. It has a rich, dark caramel aroma, plenty of spices, and a sour cherry tartness. Medium bodied yet creamy in the mouth. The flavor had plenty of spicy caramel with alcohol, tart cherries, unripe plums, and more alcohol. All blended together nicely and a good time was had by all... I mean, me.

Roasted sugar entry, cherries, light flowery notes, light grassyness. Medium to light body, seems to have lost some chewyness, probably more potent now. Dry sparkly mouthfeel. Citrus, cherry and roasted sugar retronasal, licorice on the tongue afterwards..
