We made this special brew for our shareholders. It is a thirst quenching golden ale brewed with local honey and a special strain of yeast mostly used in wheat beers. In the boil local honey is added and a long maturation period ensures a smooth and mild flavor. Unpasteurized and unfiltered.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of citrus - and so is the flavor with a note of youghurt too.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Hazy, deep golden coloured, big fluffy, lacy off-white head; distinctive floral-hoppy nose with yeasty and honeyish influences and a skunky touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, fizzy MF; distinctive lingering floral hoppiness in the sweet-fruity, a bit yeasty finish. O.K., but not very well rounded........

(swing top bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Hazy, murky orange colour with a big and quite persistent slightly off-white foamy head. Dusty, sweet malty and distinctively floral, honey-fruity nose with shy hoppy notes in the background. Light-sweet and slightly sourish flavour, medium bodied, soft on carbon. Yeasty, malt-accented taste, moderately fruity with a growing hops-character towards the dry and slightly bitter finish with a light floral and spicy touch. Interesting but not overly convincing (26.03.08).

Bottle. [thank you, Myrup]
Pours dark golden, quite hazy. A big frothy head, Okay duration, and it settles in big blotches. Aroma is nicely hopped, lots of grapefruit (Amarilla and Cascade), some honey, and light caramel. Low carbonation, but still light and fresh. Flavour is mildly hopped, semi-dry and a harsh-ish honey sweetness. Refreshing and light.
