Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2009, Esbjerg. Pours a hazy orange/brown beer with a creamy beige head. The aroma is spiced with staranis. The flavour is roasted and caramel. The palate is bitter with notes of alcohol. Overall an average beer.

Bottle. Clear amber/redish colour with okay head. Hot damn thats a great flavour. Licorice at lots of it! A bit weak palate, but what a nice taste.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Fruity notes. Especially prune. Powerfull moderate bitter flavor. Nutty notes. Fantastic creamy palate. Wonderfull beer.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are nuts, roast malt, some chocolate and notes of fruits. Never had a beer that was so full of nuts.

Cloudy chestnut with a small off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit, especially prunes, with some brown sugar. Sweet and fruity flavour with a spicy touch and a little vineous alcohol

Dark with a beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel, fruit, candy sugar and dark bread. Flavour is likewise sweet with elements of syrup, dark fruits and dark toasted malts. It reminds me a bit of cough syrup with a little medicin flavour to it. Has a well balanced bitterness.

Unclear brown of color with an off white head. An aroma of sweets, spice and apples. A flavor of spice and sweets.

Bottle at EsBF09. Dusty and creamy aroma, seems slightly malty. Cloudy dark red brown colour. Rather distinct muscat flavour. OK spicy, not too sweet, but rather well-balanced.

It’s red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, light raisin, caramel and spice. The flavor has notes of spicy yeast, oven-baked apple with syrup, roasted malt and caramel.
