COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Øllet står mørk kastanjefarvet i glasset. Duften er krydret med toner af karamel, ristet korn og chokolade. I munden er malten i fokus sammen med de komplekse sødmefulde aromaer, der holdes i skak af en solid humleafslutning.

750, corked and baled. Thanks, Christian! Pours a hazy dark brown with a loose creamy tan head. Mild nose of sweet cream and bits of red apples and apple skins. Creamy medium body with tingling tight tiny carb. Caramel, sweet cream, and red apples on the mid palate. Lingering sweet finish that somehow manages to be refreshing. Doesn’t show the 7%, drinks very easily.

Bottled. A dark chestnut-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of nuts, dusty hops, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, caramel, wood, dusty hops, malt, and some chocolate, leading to a dry finish where the wood note lingers. Very complex.

Bottle at EsBF09. Dusty and creamy aroma, seems slightly malty. Cloudy dark red brown colour. Rather distinct muscat flavour. OK spicy, not too sweet, but rather well-balanced.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Esbjerg Beerfestival. A hazy, dark amber beer with a small, off-white head. Slightly roasted nose with dried fruits, prunes mostly, some berries and a herbal touch. Bitter and sweet flavor with prunes, roasted malts and some berries. Some herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body. I’m not really sure if I like this one. It’s both good and unusual. Maybe a revisit is needed, but I don’t think that will ease my uncertainty. 091022
