Bottle. 11 days past ’best before’. Pours a hazy golden-amber with an off-white head. Hoppy, slightly sweetish aroma. Spicy and fruity notes. Sweetish flavour with a big alcohol presence, despite the relatively low percentage. Hops. Fruity. Slight notes of plastic. Dry finish with some bitterness. 12-11-06.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A hazy dark yellow beer with a thick bubbly off-white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty, but also with notes of oranges and a dusty hoppy note. The flavor is sweet whety - a quite thick almost cloying wheat note, combined with a bit of caramel, oranges, and alcohol, and just the faintest hint of banana. The end is wheaty dry with the orange notes lingering for a long time.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Low white head on a hazy orange body. Somehow, this beer lack character and I’d wish it had more wheat taste. Otherwise quite drinkable, but not my first choice of weisse.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This special brew only produced in 545 bottles isn’t the best Ølfabrikken brew ever. The aroma is very winy - it is sugary and almost as in a champagne. This character is repeating in the taste which at the same time is very hopped for the beer’s kind and with recognizeable alcohol. Long, hopped, and sweet aftertaste. Not a complex beer in any way at all, however, it does emit craft brew quality.
