(Bottle) Deep amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head, emerging and disappearing quickly. Malty, fruity smoky nose with notes of dried fruit, apricots, caramel, smoked ham, a touch of peat and rose-hip, Malty, fruity, smoky taste with dried apricots, raisins, orange peel, candy sugar, treacle, smoked malt, smoked ham and a gentle, spicy bitterness in the finish. Full body, fairly sweet. Not really subtle and balanced, but quite interesting and tasty. Nice one.

Mediuim amber coloured and hazy. Has a white head, fully diminishing. Aroma is fatty and has notes of bacon. Not too pleasent. Flavor is heavy sweet, finish moderate and light bitter. Oily texture and soft carbonation. Light astringent.

Bottle. Unclear amber with small fully diminishing off-white head. Aroma is malt, smoke and a little meat. Flavour is malt, smoke, little meat, caramel, medium sweet, little toffee, dark fruits and notes of alcohol.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are bacon, sausage, smoke, caramel, malt and hops. Great smoked.

Bottle at RBSG 2011. Cloudy amber body with small off-white head. Taste of sweet malts, yeast with, light smoke and some hops. Some bitterness. Decent.
