Sweet bottle thanks to Folkman! 2006 edition. Pours a deep black color with a medium beige head. The aroma is roast and milky malts. The flavor comes together as a medium roast, some chocolate, milky at times, cocoa, lingers with sweetness. Very drinkable and good.

Dark brown, thin tan head. Toasty malt, licorice, nutty notes, a little bready character, a little chocolate. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Olfabrikken winter stout. 22oz bottle I believe is the size. from alex with another obscure offering. Thanks!... Pours semi- dark cherry colar reddish brown with a thin light beige head... Aroma of char and oxidized malt, somewhat chalky with smoke but a bit old... Flavors are semi-bittersweet chocolate with faded oxidized malt. Paler bodied with a semi tbin to medium mouthfeel. Held up quite nicely for the age. 8/4/7/3/14

Flip top shared at Kan’s. Thanks! 2006 Vintage. Pours a thicker pitchblack opaque pour with a near non existant head, light brown small ring, laces small. Aromas are molasses, cocoa, wort, caramel, and cookie dough. Some touches of brown sugar, roasty malts. Big sweetness with touches of anise. Initial is thinned out, with sweet malts, cola, brown sugar, molasses. Fairly sweet and thin moving into astringent roast, coffee, some cocoa lingers on. Finish is thin and roasty, lingering sweet malts. Cola, roast, and charcoal. Interesting, fuller and thick. Weird and old, some cardboardy oxidation moves on with good strong earthy and ashy roast.

10/12/12/12/7/12

2006!!!! bottle thanks to Alex, a couple years past its prime, want to have a newer batch and re-review... dark brown body with no head... the nose is very sweet, burnt molasses, black licorice, and oak, a little pungent but not bad... the taste isn’t as good, its too oxidized and harsh for me, chocolate syrup with chemicals

Ottima!!!
