Not a bad lager. Thin but tasty. I could write a lot more but I don’t care enough.

Bottle. [thanks mum, dad and bigbro]
Pours clear golden with a small, fizzy, frothy, white head. Aroma has light maize, some pilsner malt, very light grassy but just generally sweet. High carbonation, thin mouthfeel. Flavour is overly sweet with some harsh, rather artificial bitterness. Feels very unbalanced.

13 Dec 08: Golden, with little head. A little fruity. Good mix of hops, Saaz and Perle, and malt, Pilsner, Munchen and CaraHell. Easy to drink. Relatively much taste to be such a light lager. Best Icelandic so far.

well, here goes. First, I find it rather strange for a company based in Reykjavik to turn to Bruggsmidjan for their beer, and even stranger when you think about the fact that Bruggsmidjan is all about bohemian styled beer, but this is a danish recipee, from a danish brewmaster. Well, new micro beer cant be all bad, can it?? Decent looks, golden, small film of head. Tiny bubbles. Aroma is much more grassy than of corn. Tiny hints of fruits, orange, but not the type of orange aroma you find in a wheat beer, more like dry lemon zest. Taste is dry, a bit acid. More malty than hoppy, but the grassnotes kind of dominate the malt. Maybe it´s the dryness? Dry finish. Overall, quite a decent summer lager, nothing I would buy but interesting nonetheless

33 cl bottle. Very easy to drink. Medium body, little head and quite carbonated. Good balance between hops and malt. Boring beer.
