Svesse (6296) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 8, 2008
(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Bronze colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, floral nose with notes of toffee, biscuity malt and butter (do I detect a hint of butterscotch?). Fruity, floral taste with biscuity malt, citrus, toffee and moderate notes of floral hops in the finish. Cascade hops well hidden. Not bad, but they can do better.

Cask@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Apperance: Cloudy golden with almost no head. Aroma: Citric notes, pine, hint of fruit and vegetables. Flavor: Citric notes, malt, cascade hops. Palate: Very smooth ale but quite boring. I expected more from this ale. Some bitterness at the end. Very drinkable but quite boring. Next!

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy golden. Floral nose with restrained grapefruit and some vegetables. Sweet with clean, almost lagerlike mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average bitterness. The Cascade hops were less pronounced than I expected.
