COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In homage to my hometown of Coventry comes “Three Spires Ale”, a golden ale @ 5% a.b.v. It is generously hopped with English First Gold, Kent Goldings and Fuggles.

Oliver’s 3 spires - ominous hazy tan-orange color, thick puffy white head. So ominous o double checked that it was pulled from right tap. Nose is light diacetyl, orange, bit of tea, heavy caramel sugar. Flavor follows, way too sweet, light tea and bark bitterness, drinks like an amber bordering ipa, massively thick with sweet cloying body. Couldn’t be more disappointed. 5% Belgian ale lightly hopped.. A joke on all of us looking for attenuation.

Draft. Pours deep gold with thick, creamy white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is orange peel, spice, straw, and floral hops. Flavor is bread malt, orange peel, and light citrus hops. Medium-light body with low carbonation and warmth.

Tap. Pours clear golden with a large, creamy off-white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is straw and grain malt, faint esters and medium earthy hops. Flavor is medium hops, moderate bitterness, supporting malt and a creamy finish. Light body, low warmth and medium carbonation.

Nitro tap at Pratt Street Ale House. I’d have to agree with the other reviews so far of the wrong class. Pretty sure it was listed at the Ale House as a Golden Ale. Onto the review... Appearance: This a quite a little beauty golden ale with a creamy white head. Light caramel malt and english hops make for balanced aroma. It also smelled a little yeasty The flavor was a great balance of English hops with a bit of creamy caramel malt that mixes in well. Pretty fantastic example of the style. Exceptionally creamy and smooth all the way through the finish.

(cask at Pizzeria Paradiso) gold with white head. Lovely English hops aroma. Flavor was light caramel malt and grassy hops. Great cask mouthfeel.

Light caramel nose with a touch of floral hops and doughy yeast. The taste is light to moderately sweet, lightly bitter with honey, caramel golden fruit and floral hops.

20110305 nitro pint at PSA. Good looking nitro head, light gazed golden. Earthy, woodsy aroma. Easy quaff with a soft palate but brisk bitterness to finish. Refreshing.

Tap at RFD Washington. Very pale golden pour with a tight creamy white head. The nose is very light. A bit earthy with a touch of light spice as well. Sort of a light session bitter - but it’s decent.

On nitro. Dark golden with thick creamy white head. Lightly fruity flavor, slightly oldish tang to it, dry dusty hop finish. Easy to drink but could use more hop aroma and bite.

Cask at Paradiso Dupont. Whoa- this is very good. Poured a clear amber with a dense, buttermilk, nitro head that you could lay a penny on top of. Excellent cask, nitro, poofy, sheety lace. Aroma is full of cinnamon toast, slight lemon, floral hops, nutmeg, caramel. Taste is English cask bitter with light Fuggles and EKG hops balancing a session amber body full of caramel, cinnamon, brown sugar, citrus peels, doughy malt. Voided of residual sweetness. Dry finish. Soft, beautiful carbonation. Excellent session beer.
