On tap at Adega Wine Cellar and Cafe in Silver Spring, MD. Hazy, copper brown with creamy tawny head and good lacing. Aroma of bread, citrus, pine and forest duff. Earthy taste of forest duff, bready malt and light citric and pine duff Medium body and medium carbonation with a velvety foam mouthfeel. Not an edgy beer at all. Very pleasant and easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On cask at Pratt. Pours a clear golden amber with a large creamy white head. Soft malt and toast on the nose. Medium bodied, toast and malt. Nice and smooth, creamy, gentle malt with a good amount of toast. Light citrus and long bready and earthy bitter finish. Super easy drinking.

Cask - There wasn’t really too much from this beer just a pretty decent English bitter served from a cask. I have had much better cask beers from Olivers.

Growler – Dark amber, creamy white head. Earthed orange-like aromas warm to touches of toffee brittle and cereal grains from start to finish. Very well balanced with a touch of bitter stone fruit and orange riding a light earthy caramel malt backbone throughout. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bittersweet finish. Sessionable would be understatement as the growler disappeared in just under two hours…

Cask at Pizzeria Paradiso. Dark amber color, thick white head. Aroma of malt! Taste is subtle pepper, light body, decent balance. Good example of the style.

Rating from about 2 years ago. Hazy gold/amber body with a small, creamy white head. Good retention. Bready, doughy malts with herbal and grassy hops in the nose. Spicy herbal hops are forward in the taste followed by dough and honey malt, and dusty yeast. Medium/light body is very soft with light carbonation. Excellent hoppy bitter.
