Pours a moderate ruby amber color with a slight head. A bit of lacing. Nose is slight cherry with caramel and a bit of sweet malt The taste brings some very light hops as well as cherries. Light toffee and malt. Light feel with good carbonation. Drinks well and is a nice, sessionable brew.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Reminds me a bit of New Glarus Red (which is AWESOME) As stated by guzzler, definite styling of a Belgian Kriek, but more taste and palate of a very good Cherry Wheat. Crisp, slightly tart, dry, and refreshing. A good summer beer without a doubt. PS - 300 lbs of Michigan cherries were used in the brewing process. You can certainly tell. That's a good thing! :-) Enjoy.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
appearance: gorgeous clear pinkish red, with a bright pink, fizzy head. aroma: tart cherries, floral honey, but of vanilla. taste: aspirin, flowery hops, tart cherry juice, cough drop. finish: astringent, bitter, sour, and slightly medicinal. notes: Extremely disappointed. Sure looked pretty though. Draft at Urban BBQ in Rockville.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Styled somewhat like a Belgian kriek, however there was more emphasis on the wheat and less (it seemed) on the yeast strain. As the name would imply, there was plenty of cherries in the nose and in the taste. Reddish, copper appearance. Nicely balanced. Smoothe finish.
