Carbonated, medium sweet perry.

500ml bottle from Olivers Farm Shop. Dry, fresh taste, medium sweet. Well balanced, accessible yet rich and full flavoured. Probably one of the best perrys out there. Seriously good.

Poured a pale yellow with thin white head, little carbonation. First time I’d ever had Pear cider, suprisingly good.

500 ml bottle. Slightly foggy and pear colored with a small ring of bubbles. Earthy apple, pear and butterscotch aromas. Tastes of lightly tart earthy pears and apples; maybe some grape must and vanilla as well. Light body has above average carbonation and finishes tingly and dryish with some nice touches of acidity.

Very pale yellow, loose, fragile head. Smell like pears and melon. Taste is subtle pear, honydew, some peculiar spicy notes. I enjoyed this more than I expected to.

Sampled at the 2013 Chicago Cider Summit. Pours a clear yellowish gold with no visible carbonation or head. Aroma has a combination of sweet and tart pear. Flavor is much more musty with pear and has a bit of sweetness that comes out in the finish.

Draft pour on tap at Cider Summit 2013 (Navy Pier, Chicago, IL). Pours a richly pale mellow melon green champagne hue. Richly carbonated, no head. Gentle haze and glow is rich. Aromas are pear, mellow dry sweetness, champagne yeast and mellow dryness. Initial is dry and light and champagney. Pear sweetness, mellow dry elements, touch of white grape. Middle is dry and light in body, easily quaffable, well carbonated. Backend dry and bubbly, gentle pear. Simple yet pretty tasty.
