COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep in color and full bodied. It gets its splendid hop aroma from Fuggle hops, accenting the rich flavors of this wonderful well-rounded ale.

Not a bad red, nice color and head on pour. Taste was average, but not a bad red for a local!

20101011 Tap at Wharf Rat. Earthy, dry, pleasant. A bit on the sweet side with some caramelized grain notes and maple. Again, I am quite pleased by the lack of diacetyl and other things I fear in UK style beers. Nice!

Draft: Poured a dark reddish brown with a light tan head, nose of caramel malts... and thats it, flavor is sweet, caramel, and roasted malts, very light hop finish. Malt flavor was quite good.

Location: Draft at the Pratt Street Ale House, 9/6/09

Aroma: Sweet caramel malts, some grassy hops too
Appearance: Dark reddish color
Flavor: Similar characteristics to nose, but a little more robust
Palate: Smooth finish, medium-full body
Overall Impression: This was a pretty nice Irish red beer, one that wasn’t overly special, but was certainly good enough to be enjoyable.
