COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep in color and full bodied. It gets its splendid hop aroma from Fuggle hops, accenting the rich flavors of this wonderful well-rounded ale.

Staying head and an airy malt aroma. Lightly balanced caramel-malt with vague bittered ending. Quite good.

Very impressed with this beer. Nice Orange/Amber Color, flavor nice and robustly hoppy. Another great Oliver beer.

Draft: Poured a dark reddish brown with a light tan head, nose of caramel malts... and thats it, flavor is sweet, caramel, and roasted malts, very light hop finish. Malt flavor was quite good.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2003 I really like this Irish Red, it's better than most I've tasted. Nice hops and a beautiful color.

Not a bad red, nice color and head on pour. Taste was average, but not a bad red for a local!

More of a tan-red color than an actual red. Slightly sweet and spiced, with moderate hops. In fact, "moderate" is the word I'd use to describe the beer in general; it's a good generic red ale, but it's got nothign special to reccommend it.

Draught @ The Wharf Rat: This one pours an amber color. It had a small off-white head on it. The aroma was lighter, but contained notes of grassiness and some caramel malt. The taste was decent enough. It had a fairly decent malt body with some hop bite. Not real exciting, but not bad either.

Clear red with a creamy tan head. Malty aroma and taste with a mild bitterness and a creamy mouth feel.
