From tap at the Churchkey. Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and crisp hoppy and light grapefruity. Toasted malty, caramelish and solid bitter to fruity hoppy. Bitter and flat malty into the finish.

Interesting. On cask at Max?s in Baltimore home of Oliver?s. Very smooth creamy and sweet on finish with a splash of bitterness in between.

Cask, "Jacob’s Winter Celebration," dry-hopped in Firkin with Liberty hops. Clear dark amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, peach, light orange. Taste is sweet, caramel, peach, orange, some resin. Soft medium body, light resin.

I guess they also celebrate winter with this beer! Tap. Copper with a light head. Cinamon cookie or cake aroma is quiet but nice. Flavour starts with alcohol and cinamon cake. Then picks up to a oool higher level like a Christmas rum cake.

Draft - Pratt St. Ale House. Dark amber, creamy off white head. Toasted citric and earth tones warm to lighter swirls of cherry toffee and cereal grains throughout. Zesty citric-earth hop bitterness is well rounded with nutty toffee and grain-like finish. Just a dollop of cherry in the background. Full bodied, soft carbonation, bittersweet finish. Very well done and certainly worth seeking out...

Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso - Georgetown, Washington D.C. Pour came from upstairs, so didn’t see head once arrived. Clear ruby color, no head. Aroma had a sweet malt, brown sugar character. The sweet flavor certainly was pleasant. Highly drinkable, even at 8.8%.

Draft at Max’s. Brewed to celebrate the birth of the brewer’s son. Dark golden brown color, off white edge head. Aroma of malt and hay. Taste is very bitter from start to finish, lots of fresh hops. Very tasty.
