COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The base malt for the brew was Maris Otter Pale Ale malt with Malted Oats, Carabrown and Cara-Munich, Munich malt and Torrefied wheat. We added a little brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla beans to the brew kettle and bittered modestly with Kent Goldings, also finishing with whole leaf Kent Goldings in the hop back. Post fermentation we added bourbon soaked raisins, cinnamon and vanilla and The Lukie Monster was born! Deep bronze-red in color and a very easy drinking 5.6% abv, this is a wonderful Fall beer.

Draft. Clear amber body, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, nutmeg, brown sugar, vanilla, light cinnamon. Taste is moderately sweet, brown sugar, some vanilla, light cinnamon. Light-medium body, light stickiness.

tepid sepia, thin white ring head. Lactic nose light berry, tea, cocoa. Sweet nose has bourbon and sugar up front, spiced cinnamon mid before raisin sweetness and fruit skins emerge finish. Oily profile accents fruit notes in finish.

Tap at Pratt St Alehouse. Pours a clear red. Weak head. No lace. Nose is rum raisin, toffee, some chocolate. Taste is the same with some decently spicy alcohol and subtler rum raisin. Palate still has some chemical sharpness found in their other beers. Drinkable at least.

Tap. Pours clear, tawny brown with a trace of creamy, off-white head. Aroma is cookie and caramel malts, oatmeal, earthy hops, figs, and light pine. Flavor is sweet malts up front with some dark fruit esters, ending with some hoppy bitterness; dry finish. Light body and low carbonation.

Tap. Pours clear dark amber with a large, frothy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is raisin, oats, cookie and caramel malt with faint earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with raisins, cookie and caramel malt with light hops and bitterness and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.
