Draft. Hazy ruby maroon color, beige head. Aroma of port, vanilla, plums. Taste is rich vanilla, thick plums, dates, figs. Very tasty.

Tap at Meridian Pint for CBC. Thanks to... whoever in the group ordered this one. Amber red pour with a small khaki head. Light roast on the aroma with light oak, wine, and floral aspects. Flavor was a bit roasty with a hint of chocolate, oak, pepper, and sour wine aspects. Not bad.

Tap at Meridian Pint for CBC. Thanks to... whoever in the group ordered this one. Poured a pretty dark ruby color. Aroma was coffee notes, some light red wine vinegar notes, grape notes, floral. Flavor had notes of pepper, sour tart notes. Pretty dry - alcohol relatively well masked.

Tap at Max’s Taphouse. Pours clear dark brown with a small, frothy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is light chocolate malt with toast and cookie malt, dates and figs, light vinous grape notes. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, oak and red wine with a dry finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

Tap. Pours dark brown with thin, creamy beige head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is vinegar, vinous fruit, sweetbread, floral hops, oak, light grapes, and light black pepper. Flavor is oak, vinegar, sour grapes, earthy and floral hops, and dry malts; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.
