COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A nod to Blur’s quintessential album and a classic beer style, the Victorian Porter, medium bodied with a balanced hop presence and lush roast notes on the nose & palate.

It’s basically your typical above average porter. Dark, roasted aroma, moderately drinkable. Nothing remarkable.

5.9% ABV. Victorian Porter. Dark Brown. 25ºSRM. Vanilla and sweet malts in the nose. The palate has some nice dry astringent notes of ume. Some pleasant citrus-like bitter hops, but more of a preserved palate rather than being fresh. Some serious properly roasted quality dark malts. A very pleasant outing.

Farbe schwarz.

Draft at P S A. Pours dark but brown with a fizzy bubbly tan head. Tastes like roasted malt, nutty, toast, and light dried fruit. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like roasted malt, nutty, light chocolate, and a bit of dried fruit.

On tap at The Ale House Columbia. Nearly opaque, very dark rosewood color with a fine khaki head and excellent lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, raisins, roasted coffee, chocolate and hops. Taste of roasted coffee, dark slightly tart fruit, toffee, chocolate and mild hops. Medium body and medium/high carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Clear light brown body with a small wispy beige head. Nose is a nice mix of roast coffee and chocolate malt with some light hops. The flavor is dry and slightly grainy with chocolate malt and coffee on the finish. Nice snap of bitterness on the back end. Lingering coffee finish. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a slight grainy huskiness.

On tap at Pratt street ale house. Wonderful aroma of coffee ice cream. Almost stout black with hardly any head. Flavors of dry cocoa, vanilla, coffee, and caramel. Has a true porter feel to it. Like this one a lot.
