Single varietal Sweet Perry. Still sweet perry made from 100% fresh pressed, unsprayed 'Oldfield' Perry pears from orchards in Herefordshire. fermented by wild yeasts and matured in old oak barrels.

Plastic cask at GBBF 08. Haze gold, green hints. Ooh, now that’s like pear jam. Stewed pear fruit. Funny, I’ve not had a dry perry all day. Medium I would call this. Fine and good stewed pears.

Bottle, picked up at Olivers, Ocle Pychard, Herefordshire Poured from a small 37.5cl corked bottle with a golden orange colour and pretty good clarity. This had a very smooth and sweet flavour the peary taste was there but in a much more mellow way than in some of the other single varietals.
