Commercial Description:
Available in bottle (filtered). Now 6.7% abv.
A blend of 5 different varieties of perry pear from one of the few young orchards in the area. Very exciting to be drinking the fruit from trees that are only 15 years old but giving a 7.5% abv. To be savoured by the light of a roaring fire or the warm glow of the evening sun.

Not bad, very clear, almost white wine like, soft pear aroma and a very dry finish.

A still, medium dry perry from a perry specialist. Cute name. I assumed it came from the pear varieties used but, as it uses five types, that doesn’t appear so. The only other reference I could find to "Rabbit Foot and Toby Time" is an instrumental track by Mott the Hoople. Whether the band are perry drinkers, or the Olivers are Mott the Hoople fans, I don’t know. Back to the perry. Very pale straw colour. Fruity aroma, with a whiff of sulphur and just a hint of bubblegum. Clean aroma, but not that fruity. In fact, a little short of flavour, I would say. Slightly sharp, acidic finish. Not bad though. About time we had a separate category for perry on the site. 750ml bottle (filtered) from Hop Pocket Wine Company. No BBE date.
