COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shezam is made from vintage cider apples, crushed and fresh pressed, then cold fermented by wild yeasts and aged in old oak barrels. Blended in the late spring, after the angel’s share has evaporated through the wooden staves during the winter, it yields a refreshing cider with a rich colour.

Bottle bought from Mr Oliver at Bristol Slow Food Market. Deep gold in colour with moderate carbonation. Aroma of slightly sweet, yet rich, apple juice with some wood character. Easy drinking, with plenty of dryish fruit, oak notes and a medium dry finish. An excellent bottled cider.

BCA from Millets Farm, Frilford, Oxon, 31-05-10 consumed the same day Pours rich gold, its got a nice warm look to it great clarity. Lovely aroma, slight oaked agedness spirity appleyness, calvados like maybe? Taste is crisp and yet also quite smooth, tart and yet softened, nice oakiness, good clean flavours but everything integrates so well. Another corker from my favourite cider producer.
