Gravicask, 1/3 pint, American Bar, on the second day of GBBF 2013. Dark brown body, declining off-white head. Inviting aromas of chocolate and honey. Dark Honey flavours with earthy malts and herbal hops to the ending. Well bodied. Tasty brew (London Olympia 14.08.2013).

On tap half pint at Gilly's Beer & Fine Wine in Rockville, MD. Opaque, dark orange-red brown with a small khaki head and good lacing. Aroma of honey, flowers, heather, malt, sourdough and grassy hops. Taste of sourdough, dark malt, fruit, honey, salvia (probably the heather) and sour Robitussin. Medium/light body and low/medium carbonization. I don't think this was supposed to be a sour beer, but it certainly is. However, the barkeep said that it has been that way since day one, which was an Oliver Tap Takeover event. So, if there is a quality control issue, it rests with the brewer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
