Bready, toasty, dark malty and minimally herbal aroma, a touch of caraway. Taste is dry, bready dark malty, hints of dark bread, pumpernickel, cautious hints of treacle; way too fizzy carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown, blackish beer with a massive tanned, bubbly head on top. Aroma of sweet fruits. herbal rye influences and a tad roast. Flavor is sweet, some red fruits in there, elements of the rye and some toastiness as well. Quite enjoyble, medium carbonation and short, light sweet finish. Pretty good.
