From 004, this looks like a stout, smells like s stout and tastes as pretty darn good one. Smoky, chocolate, roast, medium strong and quite drinkable.

Bottle. Almost black, with a non-defective beige foam. Similar taste and aroma: smoked and roasted malts, a little sour and wine, and other shades.

Bottle shared with Rune at Gorki Café. Medium high creamy and lasting brown head. Very dark hazy brown body. Coffee cocoa liquorice aroma and flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness and a mild touch of smoke. Low carbonation. Long finish. Nice surprise.

The smokiness is very intense at the first sips and I’m already making faces like a little kid who doesn’t want to eat his porridge. Still it’s not only smoked malts, the other flavors come in after it’s sits for a while. Caramel, roast and even some hops. Soft carbonation, buttery finish. Overall- not my thing and too much smoke kills it.

Bottle sampled at Amager Bryghus, thanks to Papsř. Dark brown close to black with a medium sized light brown head. Nose has charcoal, caramel, berries. Flavour delivers some meaty smoke, caramel, dark bread, brown sugar. Full body, soft carbonation, light alcoholic, light sweet. Long smokey finish. Pleasant.

humlelala (1092) - DENMARK - FEB 25, 2015
(33 cl bottle from Gorki Café Bar; Batch #86; BBD: June 25th 2015) Pours black with little, tan head that dissipates leaving lace. Decent but shortlived head regeneration can be obtained by swirling the glass. Aroma is pleasant, subdued and ashy notes of smoke with a hint of toasted malt. Oily texture, soft carbonation, medium body and a toasted finish with very little ascerbicity. Flavour is balanced and neither too sweet nor too bitter. Has a slight ascerbic edge but it’s pleasant. Girlfriend says: "Hum. Quite a lot of taste!"
