Tap @ the brewery. Pours clear red with a nice, staying, creamy, white head. Lovely looks. Aroma has piney, citrussy hops, light chocolate and caramel. Medium carbonation, fine dry and very creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good caramel, some kind of smokiness that doesn’t seem intended, but still feels quite mellow and nice. Very malty dry finish with some slight metallic notes. A bit unbalanced.

Draft. A deep red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of rye, phenols, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, rye, caramel, and phenols, leading to a dry finish. Seems to have a fermenting flaw.
