Nice rhubarb tartness up front with some hint and strawberry. There is a sweetness that borders on cloying and a thick mouthfeel that is the only thing that takes away from what is otherwise a great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle sampled at RBSG. From notes. Rhubarb and honey. Medium tart. This is a very good beer. Glad I found one to bring home.

750ml bottle. Hazy, glowing orange-tan. Foamy, patchy head. Pungent apricot, persimmon, and rhubarb aroma. A very tasty beer, mellow on the palate..has a mead-like feel at times. Tangy finish. Interesting beer, well executed, quality product.

Bottle:   Thick amber, a bit fiery and hazy, small sudsy off-white head, little lacing.   Solid Rhubarb nose, both sweet and tart, but mostely tart.   Sweet Rhubarb up front, quickly turning very tart (almost sour) on the backside.   I am so used to this flavor being accompanied by Strawberries, from my moms desserts, but this one lives up to its description "brewed with honey with rhubarb added".   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with a slightly sweet Rhubarb, along with some honey.   Really surprised this is 10%!   A little weird, but also very respectable for something so different.   Thanks Bob!

Pours a super hazy blonde with practically no head, but what’s there does manage to leave a little bit of lacing on the glass.

The aroma is floral and honey like, not unlike mead in a way. It’s sweet smelling but not overwhelmingly so and has a nice expression of tart fruit.

The flavor is oddly spicy with lots of nice tart rhubarb flavor & some honey sweetness. Nicely fruit forward, bright but at the same time sort of heavy... get’s a little happy with alcohol flavor at moments, but I wouldn’t say it’s hot or boozy.

I sort of think this one would be considerably better if the carbonation was more snappy... not often that a mouthfeel keeps a beer from greatness, but in this case I feel like it needed more liveliness... but it’s really really tasty beer.

750mL bottle. Poured clear, brighter orange with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up apple cider and rhubarb sourness plus peppery notes over sweet honey and some berries.. warmer honey and earthy notes emerged as it warmed.. smelled like it was going to be quite sour. The flavor found sweet honey, vanilla, and raspberry at the core, with vinegary notes, cloves, and a touch of metal around.. picked up a lot of tasty rhubarb on the long, dry, belly-warming finish. Medium-plus bodied and quite sour on the palate.. very dry too.. there was a whole helluva lot going on, and a lot of it was really good, but I’m on the fence about whether it worked for me.

750 ml bottle from Secret Santa. Thanks. Pours a cloudy dark yellow/amber color with a small white head that soon dissipates to a fine ring. The aroma is somewhat tart with lemon, rhubarb and touch of funk. The flavor is sour with melons, lemons, rhubarb, honey, cashews and sour dough breads. The palate was full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finished short and clean. Overall: The whole idea of brewing with rhubarb intrigued me so I put it on my wants list not really expecting to get it. This beer is a bit weird, but maybe I’m just as weird cause I really liked this.

Golden. Slightly tart aroma. Weird sweetness doesn’t go well with the rhubarb. Really hate this.
