Bottle:   Thick amber, a bit fiery and hazy, small sudsy off-white head, little lacing.   Solid Rhubarb nose, both sweet and tart, but mostely tart.   Sweet Rhubarb up front, quickly turning very tart (almost sour) on the backside.   I am so used to this flavor being accompanied by Strawberries, from my moms desserts, but this one lives up to its deScription "brewed with honey with rhubarb added".   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with a slightly sweet Rhubarb, along with some honey.   Really surprised this is 10%!   A little weird, but also very respectable for something so different.   Thanks Bob!

Golden. Slightly tart aroma. Weird sweetness doesn’t go well with the rhubarb. Really hate this.

750mL bottle. Poured clear, brighter orange with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up apple cider and rhubarb sourness plus peppery notes over sweet honey and some berries.. warmer honey and earthy notes emerged as it warmed.. smelled like it was going to be quite sour. The flavor found sweet honey, vanilla, and raspberry at the core, with vinegary notes, cloves, and a touch of metal around.. picked up a lot of tasty rhubarb on the long, dry, belly-warming finish. Medium-plus bodied and quite sour on the palate.. very dry too.. there was a whole helluva lot going on, and a lot of it was really good, but I’m on the fence about whether it worked for me.

750 ml bottle from Secret Santa. Thanks. Pours a cloudy dark yellow/amber color with a small white head that soon dissipates to a fine ring. The aroma is somewhat tart with lemon, rhubarb and touch of funk. The flavor is sour with melons, lemons, rhubarb, honey, cashews and sour dough breads. The palate was full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finished short and clean. Overall: The whole idea of brewing with rhubarb intrigued me so I put it on my wants list not really expecting to get it. This beer is a bit weird, but maybe I’m just as weird cause I really liked this.

Really like this. Sour yet smooth rhubarb taste on palate is very pleasant. Not a beverage with dinner but great to share with friends or savor while reading. Wish I was closer to Olvalde farm to ensure I always have this in stock.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours golden honey with a thin beige head and a sharp fruit aroma. There is a sweet honey and light malt flavor with a mildly sour rhubarb finish. Interesting.

Nice sour nose. Taste is lovely sweet and sour. Rhubarb is sour people and this is exactly what it is meant to taste like. Dont understand the hate for this one. If you dont want a sour beer dont buy a rhubarb one, go get a raspberry one.

750ml bottle. Poured a yellow color with a tinge of orange. Aroma was vegetal, vinegar, with plenty of rhubarb. I’m really not a huge fan of rhubarb on its own, so I was hoping that this wasn’t massive rhubarb. Flavor was about the same. Unfortunately not a fan.
