joergen (6340), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 20, 2008 Bottle.
Clear amber coloured with a small white head.
Sweet aroma of malts, caramel and rye bread with notes of hops.
Fruity flavour of malts and caramel with notes of bread and hops.
Hoppy finish. yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 19, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden brown/orange with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and malty toasted aroma. Flavour is mild roasted malty with a light breadish note. Light spiced finish. taunusmies (230), Finland May 29, 2008 Firm bodied beer with strong malty aroma and some hops. Pours deep copper colour and has a large head. Slightly bitter, bready aroma, also a hint of grassy and floral notes. A decent beer indeed, I hope they’ll keep this in production at least a couple of years. esox (103), Oulu, Finland Apr 8, 2008 500 ml can. Small white head is not very durable but leaves a lace. Liguid is very clear, and light copper in colur. Medium sweet malty aroma has some yeast and is not very fresh. Aftertaste has hops, some sweet malts and I also found some raisin flavors. Medium palate is quite soft and not very carbonated. A bit watery and metallic, but still better Finnish lager that on average. tlind2 (226), Helsinki, Finland May 7, 2008 500 ml can. Coppery color, white lacy head. Slight aroma of sweet malts and (surprising for Olvi) even some hops. Pretty straight-forward taste with a lot of malt, but less watery and more bitter than I expected. Hell, this is almost a real beer!
