COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From olvi.fi: "OLVI Harkko on vaalea, miellyttävä ja tasapinoinen premium-luokan lager-olut, jonka raikkaassa, aromihumaloinnilla (Cascade) viimeistellyssä maussa leikittelevät sitrus ja tuore humala katkerohumalan vastapainona. Premiumia on myös näyttävän näköinen kultainen pakkaus, jonka hyllyvoima on taattu."

568 ml can. Finland.
Clear pale golden colour with tiny white head. Sweetish honey (or probably that’s the fruitiness) in very weak aroma. Grainy malty flavour with tiny hints sweetness, cardboard and soap. Ei leikittele sitrus ja tuore humala ei. I’m so fed up with Olvi. And again too big pint-ti sized can with crappy design. Come on, try a little harder.

Can. Pale golden color, white head. Now what’s this? Slightly hoppy aroma in an Olvi beer? Can it be? The flavor is fairly light and malty with a hoppy finish. Light body, medium carbonation. A pleasant surprise compared to my expectations. Can I get this in 0,33 liter can 12-packs?

568ml can, shared by Finn. Airy white head, quickly diminishing. Golden body. Malty aroma with a few fruity backdrops. The flavour is mostly made up by sweet fruits added by cereal. Foamy in the mouth. Does not stand out in any way (session at Finns in Tromsø, 16.05.2012).

Can at Papsoe. Clear pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma is bready with notes of cereal and dough - and a dash of grass. Taste is, well, not that rich, actually it’s thin and watery, light sweet with a light bitter finish. Can’t really detect the Cascade hops in there...
