1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a one finger white head that fades quickly to ring, leaving little lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Skunky nose. Flavor is balanced and not as bad as nose but nothing special. 330ml bottle €1.35 Kahvio Ahokylä, Finland. From my notes - 7/11/2008.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Short foam. Light yellow. Wery smoth with some maltiness. Short bitterness. This beer is made for warm summerdays or for drinking after the sauna in large amounts. It will not kill any tastbuds and just quench your thirst.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pale hey coloured. Metallic hop in the nose. Mild malt and flowery hop in the taste. Best beer after sauna when the mosquitos like you.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Medium coarseish white head quickly disappears. Paleish yellow body with carbonation. Grainy, grassy aroma, rather faint, with buttery notes. Dryish grainy watery taste with fruity notes. Dry papery aftertaste. Acceptable, but no more. (0.33l bottle, belge, Helsinki.)

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Pale golden, fizzy small head. Nose is sweet honeyish malts, little hay. Sweet malty flavor, slight grassy hops and honey. Light bodied with quite low carbonation. Nothing that bad (or good) to say about this one.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear golden color, frothy white head that doesn’t last. Not much aroma, slightly malty taste, little in the way of hops. One cut above the average mass-market Finnish lager, but nothing spectacular.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Color is pale golden-yellow. White, big bubbly head bubbles quite slowly almost away. Leaves scant lacing. Sweet malty aroma is also a bit fruity and smoothly and slightly buttery. Sweet malty, first little metallic flavor ends with watery malts. Slightly tingly carbonated and light-bodied palate.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Smooth malt drink. One of the best high volume "bulk" beers in Finland. Works its way as a sleeping pill.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
THIS is probably the worst Finnish beer available. With its vague bio-diesel "aroma", rotten egg taste and aftertaste of something which has been lying in my biowaste all too long, it’s a new bottom for the finnish beer industry. Almost unbeleivable.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JUL 18, 2014 Sandels is a light yellow beer with a quite thin head. Aroma is light and malty but quite nice, also grass. The taste has malts, some bitterness that is quite smooth, some sweetness. Light bodied, medium carbonation. Sandels is not a special beer but positively, a smooth lager without mistakes.
