The respected war hero colonel Johan August Sandels was a skilled tactician also at negotiations. Once, when a negotiation for an armistice was coming to a dead end, Sandels suggested a lunch break. The salted meat was washed down with plenty of beer, and soon the enemy sent his messenger to give the word that the negotiations appear to take a long time.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2014 0.33ml aluminium can featuring a drawing of colonel Johan Sandels, the label states "strong and soft beer". Pours clear golden with a medium sized white quickly reducing head. Aroma is faint of corn and wheat bread. Flavours of corn, wheat bread and a hint of honey. Taste is light-medium sweet taste and light bitter. Palate is full light bodied, thin texture and lively carbonation. A common macro Pale Lager on the sweeter side, okay cold as a thirst quencher.

Taster from a can. Pours a clear golden yellow with a decent, white head. Aroma is grainy, a bit hay and grass. Taste is light corn, light bread, not pleasant, but not bad either. Palate is fairly alright. Nothing special.

Canned. Bought at Maxima supermarket in Lithuania. Empty taste, poor aroma and absolutely no aftertaste. Dreary and cheap pale lager. No more to drink it.

330ml can from Kilpis via Gaute. Airy, white head rapidly declining to a thin layer. Clear straw coloured body. Aroma holds some hints of cereal. Modest taste of sweet fruits and grain. Sour bitterness to a short end. Soft carbonated. Watered in the mouth. Just about drinkable (Tromsø 10.06.2013).
