Starchy malts and yeast in the aroma
Flavor is sweet and little malty.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear golden color small white head. Typical sweet corn malty Olvi aroma with some grainy notes. Light bodied. Fizzy. Sweetish corn malty. Some uncleanish notes too. Low bitterness. Although brewed at A Le Coq, tastes more or less like "a standard Olvi".
Earlier Rating: 5/19/2012 Total Score: 1.7
Bottled 500ml (Prisma, Mikkola, bottled 090312)
Clear yellow color, small white head. Sweetish, grainy, sweetcorn aroma. Light-bodied. Crisp carbonation. Sweetish malty, cardboardish flavor with hints of cooked corn. Basicly another rebadge of Olvi Sandels.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Low off-white head, pale clear straw golden body, minimal lacings.
Scents of sweet barley malts, fruitiness, grass.
Much malt in taste, only some grassy hops.
A bit watery, fresh and easy, for those who like it that way.
Ends with malt, bread, grains, low bitterness.
Overall a macro.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2014 500 ml bottle as Olvi Sandels 250 Vuotta Juhlaolut.
BB 15/01/15. (K-Supermarket) Helsinki, Finland.
Clear pale golden colour with a medium-sized frothy white head.
Grainy malt and mild sweetness in a rather clean aroma. Boring but clean.
The flavour is a bit sweeter than regular Sandels (or maybe I’m just dreaming). Watery. Malty flavour with a tiny hints of grassy hops. I was 100% sure that this is the same beer as the earlier Sandels Special brewed by A. Le Coq but now I’m not sure anymore. This might actually has a different recipe. It doesn’t make it any better though.

500 ml bottle. Finland.
Clear yellow colour with average size white head.
Grassy hops and some cardboardy notes in dry aroma.
Flavours seem to be filtered out. So flavour is very mild malt, cardboard notes and hits of grassiness. Watery. Unpleasant. Useless. Olvi did it again. No need for another one.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear yellow golden body, white head. Aroma has toasty starch, something green. Sugar. Flavour has soft carbonation, and very light green apple taste. Not bad exactly, but really flat and could be more tasteful. Just sweet.

Bottle 0.5l from local market, Helsinki. Best Before 15.01.15. Colour is clear yellow with small thick white head. Aromas and flavours: Sweetness, grain and hints of malts. Horrible and totally useless beer.

Bottle 0.5l from local market. Originally rated 20042012. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain and malts. Nothing "special", just as horrible as rest of the lagers from Olvi. And what is the point of triple-filtering lagers???? Like there could be too much taste...

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
500ml bottle, clear pale golden colour, small frothy mostly diminishing white head, small amount of lacing. Aroma is moderately malty grain and mildish floral hops. Taste initially light sweet and acidic turning into a slightly bitter shortish finish with a slightly metallic feel. Light body, lively carbonation, dry texture. Not really anything interesting going on aside for maybe a slightly maltier body than the average supermarket lager here though I could be hallucinating.
