Can 568ml (BB 05/2011)
Dark ruby color, small beige head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, metal, vegetables and coffee. Light to medium bodied. Typical Olvi soft palate, but a bit more bitterness than normally. Flavor is dark malty, caramelly (not roasted), finish has some light coffee notes. Dry aftertaste. More balanced than Export version. Reasonably good dark Velko imitation.

MikeKeller (933) - Kemi, FINLAND - SEP 9, 2010
Canned ABV 4,0%. Clear cola brown beer with lasting small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma is pretty much like of the pale version. Taste is a bit sweet also with light maltyness and that’s about it. Maybe you find some roastyness if you try hard. Mouthfeel is very watery and I would recommend this beer only to a person who thinks beer = pale bulk lager.

This is like some of the finest home/family beers. Very soft yet full of taste. Well, the aroma is mostly roasty and nothing special, but great still.

tlind2 (1589) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 30, 2010
Pint can. Copper color, tan head. Roasted malt flavor with some nuttiness. Light body, medium-high carbonation. Smooth and straight-forward, if lacking in surprises and complexity.
