The Doppelbocks are the strongest of beers. When you wish to drink strong beer, grab the bock by the horns. Double your enjoyment by drinking the Bock cool.

Ambar. Escasa espuma. Aroma de miel. Licórica. En boca tono cremoso. El resto es una especie de licor de cebada, acaramelado. No está mal de sabor, pero una lager de semejante graduación resulta normalmente más licor que cerveza porque le falta complejidad...

330 ml can - thanks Vincit Oy! (BBE 2015-05-08)
Clear orange beer with little white head. Aroma has mostly just sweet toffeey a nd bready malts with some glue - surprisingly no alcohol whatsoever. Flavor is really sweet and boozy. Palate is full and stickiy with quite heavy carbonation. Finish has basically no bitterness. Aftertaste has booze and syrupy sweetness, harsh starchness. Not as bad as I thought.

330ml can, clear dark gold colour, medium frothy mostly vanishing white head marginal lacing. Medium to heavy malty aroma of grain and hay with mild floral hops and a fruity complexion. Taste is initially moderately sweet, turning into a mildly bitter and moderately sweet finish with an alcoholic feel. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel average carbonation. Marginally less vomit-inducing than most booze-lagers.

33cl Bottle, tfs Harmen! Clear golden Amber colour, white head. Aroma of cheap strong lager, sweet, alcohol, fruity, something nasty as well. Flavour is very sweet, malty, alcohol, fusels, fruits, sharp cheap nasty stuff, alcoholic finish. Medium bodied at best. So nice of them to call this a doppelbock.

Bronze beer with a white foam. Sweet and slightly herbal aroma. Very sweet. Mildly carbonated. No bitterness. Quite alcoholic. After a few sips starts slowly coming back up. Disturbing.

0.33l can. Will, it’s crystal clear and kinda golden on the looks. A big white fizzing away white lager head is placed on the top of this one. Smells like copper coins with corn and dust. Pretty bad really. Rusty sweet flavors. It has a good oily feeling in the mouth and a above average carbonation level. Strong and somewhat boozy flavors. Sweet, sticky and really malty. Again, lots of copper coins in the taste. Metallic undertones. Nah, I’ll drink til cause I’m beer-thirsty but I refuse to say that I enjoyed this for even one second. 04.08.2014

Clear golden with lasting head. Strong sweet, fruity, malty aroma. Flavour is very sweet and gives a slightly warming aftertaste.

Pretty meaningless beer. Taste is like Olvi 5% with some booze added. Don’t really make any justice to the name doppelbock, the lack of malt is obvious. STay away fro this!

Can on the Viking ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is big malt. The flavour is strong bitter with a boozy alcoholic malt bitter palate with a bubbly mouthfeel and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.
